Process and Guidelines in Requesting for a Change in Work Status
Loss Prevention team members have the option to request a change in work status, transitioning from full-time to part-time or vice versa.
The following guidelines outline the steps involved in this process and approval:
Guidelines:
- Loss Prevention team members (L1 & L2) are required to complete a minimum tenure of 4 months before requesting a change in work status from full-time to part-time or vice versa.
- To ensure operational stability, members are limited to a maximum of two (2) changes in work status throughout their tenure with Panoptyc.
- Example:
- Original start date: January 1, 2023
- First change from full-time to part-time: August 15, 2023
- Second change from part-time to full-time: February 20, 2024
- After utilizing the two approved changes, work status will remain unchanged for the remainder of contractual obligations with Panoptyc. However, the Loss Prevention management team may consider exceptions based on extenuating circumstances.
- Please note that a change in work status will affect your original start date for employment purposes. Additionally, your annual performance evaluation will be adjusted to align with your new work status and start date.
Approval Process:
- Send an email to the following: (Please make sure to use your Panoptyc email)
- To: Team Lead / Manager
- Cc: HR
- Use the subject title: Change in Work Status | [ex. Part Time to Full Time]
- Provide a brief explanation for the request to change work status from current status to desired status.
- Request to change work status will be reviewed and approved by team leads / manager.
- Upon approval of work status change, HR will issue a revised contractor agreement reflecting your new work schedule
